Are you a developer interested in how green development is changing the market? Or are you an architect or engineer, curious about how to leverage the financial benefits of sustainable design to achieve higher project goals? This week we kick off the 2013 Fall Lecture Series with Ashley Lemon from ARES Real Estate Services out of Golden, Colorado.
He will be providing the developers perspective on the business case for green developers. The talk will feature projects procured by their full-service, vertically-integrated development firm, while showing financial numbers and statistics that prove an increase in project value due to sustainable and energy efficient design.
Also, USGBC Idaho is hosting a free public reception after the talk at CTA Architects just two blocks away from Idaho Power at 1185 Grove Street in Boise. Anyone and everyone interested in continuing the conversation with Ashley is invited to attend and join in the conversation. We will offer free beer, wine and light appetizers.

The Greenbuild early registration deadline was extended until tomorrow, so now is the time to act if you’re thinking about attending so you can save some money. The Idaho Chapter is sending a delegation as usual to collaborate with our colleagues at national USGBC and with chapter leaders around the country and world. We’re particularly excited to hear from all the great speakers including former Secretary of State Hilary Rodham Clinton and political polling statistician Nate Silver. If you are planning on attending Greenbuild let us kn0w so we can connect you with the other Idaho attendees while we’re in Philadelphia.
