On Tuesday, January 10th the USGBC Idaho Chapter presents our monthly Green LEEDers event featuring Action Jackson and his work on the Idaho Youth Education Recycling Project. It’s rare that we have the opportunity to hear Action speak to a group of people because he’s usually too busy in action volunteering his time recycling metal on construction projects around the valley.
The presentation will also feature representatives from Pacific Steel & Recycling, CM Company, Beniton Construction and Engineered Structures Inc. We’ll hear from the general contractors how the partnership relationship has worked and the benefits for their projects. Action will tell us about how IYERP began and how the John William Jackson Fund benefits Idaho’s youth.
So please join us for a panel presentation and reception to hear about this great program and get inspired to take action in your life in 2012. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
