Provisional Chapter Status
The USGBC Idaho Organizing Group is now a Provisional Chapter, and we can officially adopt the name "U.S. Green Building Council Idaho Chapter" or "USGBC Idaho Chapter."

LEED-NC v2.2 Passes
USGBC is pleased to announce that LEED for New Construction (LEED-NC) v2.2 has been approved by its membership. The program launch was on November 11, 2005 at the GreenBuild Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

In addition, the USGBC has extended the deadline for LEED-NC v2.1 Project Registrations until December 21, 2005.

Hospitals for Healthy Environments
The next Hospitals for a Healthy Environment teleconference is on Friday November 18th. The topic is "Waste Prevention through Material Refurbish, Reuse and Donation." Learn how to extend the life of no longer needed office products, furniture, and equipment through an exchange or donation program. Prevent waste and associated costs through material exchange! Several H2E Partners will share their successes.

This free teleconference will be hosted at the Department of Environmental Quality, 1410 N. Hilton, Boise, Conference Room C. The call will start at 11:00am. Please come a few minutes early.
