It's Official: Banner Bank Building is LEED Platinum!
Downtown Boise Building is first LEED Platinum in Idaho and 16th in U.S. Congratulations to all those involved in making this uniquely green building happen. The 11-story Banner Bank Building is a $20 million, 190,000 sf Art Deco style office building in downtown Boise. It features digital lighting control, offices with individual thermostats, a process for recapturing rain water for use in the building's lavatories, an underfloor air distribution system and an electrical system that allows people to keep working during a power failure. Monthly Chapter Meeting Change
To encourage more of our Chapter Members to attend the monthly Programs we have moved the monthly Chapter Meeting to noon on the 3rd Friday of each month just before the Program begins. It will be a brief synposis of current news and action items about the Chapter presented by one of the Board Members. The Program/Chapter Meeting be held at Idaho Power Headquarters at 1221 Idaho Street in Boise unless otherwise indicated. There is no Program/Chapter Meeting scheduled for September. Board of Director meetings will still be held the first Wednesday of every month at the Integrated Design Lab at 11am. This meeting will still be open to Chapter Members, however, they will only be observers and have no voting rights at those meetings. |
