USGBC Idaho - New Committee Structure
In an effort to move our organization forward, we have restructured. With the generous help of Dallas Gudgell of SpeakEasy, we are currently reviewing our strategic plan to determine performance measures, develop an action plan, assign committees or individuals to specific tasks, explore new opportunities and create a feasible budget. We now have three committees: Events Committee, Advocacy & Education Committee, and Development Committee. Read more about each committee's role>> |

Wanted: LEED AP in Colorado CSHQA is currently working on a project in Boulder, Colorado targeting LEED Gold. The tenant improvement contractor is looking to hire an on-site LEED AP with a background in construction to coordinate efforts to gain credits and documentation for LEED Cerification. | Microsoft Powers Up With Solar Energy Microsoft has announced the installation of its new solar electric system at the company's Silicon Valley Campus. It is the largest of its kind in Silicon Valley, says the company. Generating 480 kilowatts at peak capacity, the system is composed of 2,288 tiles that will supply enough energy to power nearly 500 homes. Read more>> |
Wisconsin Goes Green Appearing at a showcase for energy efficiency in downtown Milwaukee, Gov. Jim Doyle signed an executive order designed to spur the "greening" of state government buildings. Under the order, state buildings would be subject to energy efficiency goals and green buildings standards. Read more>> |
