Western Region Conference
Nominations for one person to join Bruce Poe in attending the first USGBC Regional Conference in March in Denver, Colorado will be accepted at the next meeting on Jan 26th. Voting will be held that same meeting. Visit the Western Region Website>>
LEED-EB & LEED-CI Technical Review Workshops
There will be a LEED-CI Technical Review Workshop on Wed, Jan 25th in Portland.
There will be a LEED-EB Technical Review Workshop on Fri, Jan 27th in Portland.

LEED Refinements: Members Online Chat January 19th
USGBC recently launched a series of major enhancements to the LEED Rating System certification process. The result of a nearly year-long process involving extensive customer feedback and market research, the LEED process innovations will greatly reduce the LEED documentation process time, paperwork, and cost. Board Member Activities
Cheryl O'Brien, USGBC Idaho Board Member, will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the Southeastern  Section of AIA in Pocatello. The meeting will be held at 6:00pm at Perkins Restaurant on Thurs, Feb 9th. Cheryl will present an introduction to LEED and the USGBC, talk about local green building news and trends at the national level.
