Cornerstone Design
Boise, Idaho

Project Description
Purchased as a building shell, Cornerstone designed the entire interior layout and finish package according to their studio needs, as well as to LEED-CI Gold standards. The 2,306 sf of interior space was laid out to provide optimal natural daylight for all of the workspaces as well as views to the outdoors. A variety of interior finishes were used to create a "working showroom." Cornerstone Design purposely mixed modern and natural materials together to create a dynamic and vibrant space where a variety of textures are experienced.

Over 90% of the wood used in the project is FSC-certified, and over 90% of the construction waste was diverted from the landfill. Local materials and vendors were supported as much as possible. 20% of the materials in the space have recycled content, and meet stringent indoor air-quality requirements. As one can see after experiencing the space, "green" can truly be gorgeous!
