Dear USGBC Idaho Chapter Member,
One of the primary goals for the USGBC Idaho Chapter in 2010 is to increase effective communication with membership. In order to better serve your needs, we now have several ways that you can sign up to receive announcements and information.
Emails – the USGBC Idaho Chapter will continue with email announcements for important USGBC-sponsored lectures and events. In addition, we are instating a quarterly newsletter to keep members up to date on recent green building news in Idaho.
Blog – in 2009, we were thrilled to unveil a new website and blog. Green building articles and local events are continuously posted by our board members and committee chairs. If you would like to receive these posts via email, please subscribe to our RSS feed at the bottom of the website.
Calendar – a new calendar page is also part of the updated website. If you have any relevant green building events you would like to post, please contact Tracy at firstname.lastname@example.org at least one month prior to date of event.
Social Networking – the USGBC Idaho Chapter is now posting to Facebook and Twitter. Please join us for great discussions, as well as wonderful opportunities to network with other members of Idaho’s green building community.

You are invited to take part in our first annual USGBC Idaho Chapter Member survey. Please complete if you are either a current chapter member, have been a chapter member in the past, have expressed interest in becoming a chapter member at one of our events, or are a LEED Accredited Professional from Idaho.
This survey was created to help gather valuable information for our chapter to help us attract new members, retain our current and lapsed members, and to improve the value of the chapter for our membership.
The survey takes approximately 7 minutes to complete. Please click the link below, enter the password and complete the survey by November 14th, 2009.
We would greatly appreciate your input.
And please save the date for our Annual Membership Drive/Event November 18th, 2009, 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Boise Train Depot
