OM your home is about creating homes that are balanced, beautiful, healthy, and comfortable to live in. They offer Holistic Home Consultations and customized design strategies for reducing energy consumption, using resources wisely, and working with nature to make new or existing homes more sustainable. 

Sharon’s education includes a recent Bachelor’s of Ecological Design from the San Francisco Institute of Architecture and an earlier Bachelor’s of Marketing, International Business, and Philosophy from Ohio University. In between the two degrees, she lived in numerous locations including England, Hungary, Miami, Seattle, Vancouver, Grand Cayman, and even onboard cruise ships for months at a time.

Her interest in green building stems from numerous renovation projects in her own homes that became progressively greener over time. It seemed to be a good indication that she was spending her free time attending events such as Green Build, building furniture, reading books such as The New Natural House Book by David Pearson, and frequenting the Environmental Home Center in Seattle. Combine this level of personal interest with a lifelong passion for design and a new career in green building was born.
