Dennis Cunningham, President of ActiveWest Development, has over 20 years of development, land-use planning and entitlement experience in California and Idaho. As past Vice President of a prominent land-use planning firm in Carlsbad, Dennis worked diligently to synergize the needs of quality land use planning in a high growth area with the important environmental guidelines of the California Coastal Commission, U.S. Fish & Wildlife, Department of Fish & Game, and the Army Corps of Engineers. In addition, Dennis has a real estate corporate brokers license and degrees in Landscape Architecture and Land Planning as well as Real Estate Development.

He holds a real estate corporate brokers license in the State of California with extensive experience in a wide range of development projects as well as numerous professional affiliations including:

  • Urban Land Institute (ULI) – Idaho Chapter
  • US Green Building Council (USGBC) – Idaho Chapter President and West Region Council Member (representing 8 States)

Dennis is currently developing Meadow Ranch, a residential community in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho for active adults age 55 & better.  It has been accepted into the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Neighborhood Development Pilot Program. (LEED–ND).  The Cottages @ Coeur d’Alene is another project he has underway that will be built for LEED Certification as well.
