About Us
The U.S. Green Building Council Idaho Chapter seeks to promote sustainable design, building, construction and operation to create a better quality of life for Idaho.
Our organization is made up of a diverse group of individuals in the building industry ranging from architects, landscape designers, engineers, contractors, government officials, product manufacturers, students, developers, interior designers, building operators, appraisers, real estate agents and more.
We have two scheduled events each month. We have an evening networking social called Green LEEDers that meets the second Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm at the WaterCooler, 1401 W. Idaho St., Boise. This event is a collaboration between the USGBC Idaho Chapter and GreenWorks Idaho. Our second monthly meeting is a lunch lecture and is held on the third Friday of every month from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the Idaho Power Conference Room, 1221 W. Idaho St., Boise.
In addition to these we have two scheduled meetings each month. The first is our monthly board meeting which is held the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at CCDC, 121 N. 9th St., Ste #501, Boise. We also have a monthly meeting of our committee chairs which is the first Wednesday of each month at 12:00 pm in the conference room of CTA Architects, 1185 W. Grove St., Boise. We welcome members to attend these meetings.
