YBP and USGBCState Chapters Are Working Together

Oct. 15th, 2009

YBP is thrilled that Idaho, Montana and Wyoming all have local Chapters representing the US Green Building Council.  These Chapters are a valuable resource, and offer great opportunities for YBP members to get involved with green building and sustainability on any level.  We encourage you to become a member of your local chapter and help advance sustainability in our region.

•   Idaho Chapter: The USGBC Idaho Chapter strives to accelerate the implementation of sustainable building concepts,

technologies and practices through education and advocacy.  We envision a healthy future through the promotion and

application of sustainable strategies to the built environment.

– Contact Sharon Patterson, sharon@buildingecoedge.com or 208-440-1946, www.usgbcidaho.org

•  Montana Chapter: The USGBC Montana Chapter promotes balanced social, economic, and environmental

stewardship in Montana by leading and educating about green building practices that will create healthy and

sustainable communities in which to live, work, and play.

•   Wyoming Chapter: USGBC – Wyoming transforms our built environment by promoting a responsible, efficient, and

cost effective whole building approach to design and construction. We do this by providing practical educational programs,

promoting sustainable development, offering community outreach initiatives and by conducting our chapter in an open and

fiscally responsible manner.
